Overview

Leave the mainland behind and hop onto a ferry across the Mandovi River to Divar Island, where time seems to slow down, and the rhythms of island life take over. Despite being just a stone’s throw from Panjim, Divar has resisted urbanization, holding onto its rich heritage, lush landscapes, and peaceful charm. This is your chance to experience Goa as it once was — unhurried, soulful, and deeply connected to nature.

Cruise through scenic village roads, meeting warm and welcoming locals who keep age-old traditions alive. Learn about khazaan farming, an ingenious sustainable farming-fishing system unique to Goa, and explore ancient Hindu temple ruins, mystical bathing sites, and Goa’s finest 18th-century Baroque church with breathtaking panoramic views. If the weather allows, we’ll even venture into the island’s hidden caves for adventure!

With a local storyteller as your guide, expect tales of history, legends, and island secrets that bring Divar to life. As the day winds down, enjoy a soulful musical performance and indulge in a delicious Goan breakfast, lunch, or high tea — the perfect way to soak in the essence of this magical island.

This isn’t just a tour; it’s a journey into Goa’s past, a celebration of its present, and a moment of pure tranquility!
